Citizens of some countries can get multiple entries on their eVisa to Turkey. Here are the countries with the option of applying for multiple entry visa. Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Grenada, Haiti, Hong Kong (BN(O)), Ireland, Jamaica, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, U.S.A, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom.

Citizens of countries other than the above-listed can only apply for single-entry e-Visa to Turkey.

Are there any restrictions on airline companies to fly to Turkey?

Some airlines have already signed a travel protocol with the foreign ministry in Turkey, which authorizes them to fly travelers from specific countries who have the eVisa. These airlines include Onur Air, Turkish Airlines, Atlasglobal Airlines, and Pegasus Airlines.

These travelers can only travel through these airlines. The countries are listed below; Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo Republic of the Congo the Democratic Republic of the Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Palestine, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Can I get a refund of my Turkey visa if it's not used?

No. An eVisa, once issued, must be used. If a traveler does not use their eVisa, their application fee is non-refundable. It is part of the terms and conditions, and we implore all applicants to go through them before applying for this visa. All e-Visa application fees paid are non-refundable.

How long before my travel date should I apply for e-Visa?

Accepted Answer

Before the date of your intended travel, make sure you create an e-Visa application account at least 48 hours. Once you create the account, proceed with the application, submit all necessary information, and wait for the approval. The processing time may last for anytime between 24 hours and 48 hours. So, you want to be on the safer side.

I have realized that some information on my e-Visa does not match the information on my travel document. Can this be corrected?

Any mistake you have made on your e-Visa application cannot be corrected. You will need to apply again for a new e-Visa. The errors render your initial application invalid as your information does not match the one on your travel document. It would be best if you do not attempt to travel to Turkey with such an e-Visa document because you will be denied.

The information on my e-Visa does not fully match the information on my travel document. Can I enter Turkey with this Visa?

No, you cannot travel to Turkey with such a visa. To be granted entry into Turkey, all your information must be matching and correct. If there is a discrepancy anywhere, you will be denied entry. So, immediately you notice an error or mismatching details, proceed with a new application immediately. This will save you time.

I would like to stay in Turkey for a period of time longer than the e-visa permits. What should I do?

If you are planning to stay beyond the permissible duration on your e-Visa to Turkey, once you get to Turkey, you have to apply for a residence permit at a local police station. The eVisa is only granted to travelers who want to visit Turkey for trade and tourism purposes. So, if you have other things to do in Turkey outside of those two things, such as work or study, you will need to submit a new application at the Turkish embassy. Do not overstay your e-Visa without following the appropriate channels, or else you might be fined, deported or banned.

Do I need an e-Visa if I am on a cruise ship?

If you will not to be staying beyond 72 hours, you are exempted from holding an e-visa. This is covered by the Law on Foreigners and International Protection that went into effect on April 11, 2014. The law states that foreigners who enter Turkey through seaports and will visit nearby provinces for tourism do not need to obtain a visa as long as their stay is under 72 hours.

If my travel dates change, can I apply for the eVisa amendment for change of date?

Accepted Answer

There is nothing like amending your visa or correcting it. Your visa is only valid for the duration that you have stipulated. Your travel date may change, but the duration of your e-visa does not change. Once your e-Visa is approved, the date starts reading, and you have to travel within that period.

Do I need to enter Turkey on the exact date specified in my application?

Accepted Answer

No, you can travel to Turkey anytime within the validity of your Visa. Your visa is valid from the date specified in the application to the date of expiration. You can travel anytime you like within this period. So, there is no need to rush.
