What is a Rwanda eVisa?
Travelling to a foreign country requires a permission document from the respective country that one is travelling to. This travel document, which is called a visa, is a very important document without which citizens of most of the countries will not get entry to the foreign country that they are travelling to. While obtaining a regular visa took a significant amount of time and consisted of several complex procedures, the electronic system is much simpler.
The Government of Rwanda introduced the eVisa on January 1, 2018, which has enabled citizens of most of the countries to apply for the visa online.
How to Apply Online For a Rwanda Visa?
Applying for an online visa to Rwanda has been made very easy by the government of the country. Through an electronic system, the applicants can now get their hands on the visa in 3 simple steps. So here are the steps that applicants must follow.
Fill Application Form: As the entire eVisa process will be carried out online, filling out the application form can be completed online. There is no need to visit an embassy. Applicants only have to download the form from the government website. This will ensure that the application form is genuine. The form needs to be filled and submitted.
Document Submission: The next step includes submitting the required documents with the application form. The documents can easily be scanned and then submitted online. However, it is important that the scanning is done with clarity or the application might get rejected.

After completion of the visa application, the form will be sent for processing. In few days applicants will receive the eVisa confirmation mail.
