Kuwait has introduced a Kuwait Visa online service for foreign nationals who wish to travel to Kuwait. The visa application for Kuwait requires the individual to fill in important details that include: Request form of a visit, digital copy of the visitor's passport provided that it is valid not less than six months, and to prove the relationship of kinship. A recent salary certificate for the foreign sponsor is also required if he/she works in the government sector. A work permit if he/she is in the private sector along with a copy of the Civil ID card of the sponsor. In the event of a tourist visit arranged by hotels, the signature form of the authorized person shall be attached. The Visa for is valid for up to 90 days.

Steps to Apply for a Kuwait eVisa
The Kuwaiti Government has introduced an eVisa to make it easy for visitors to acquire a visa. With this electronic system in place, individuals do not need to visit an embassy. Here are the three steps that applicants must follow to apply for an eVisa successfully:
Fill Application Form: First, you are required to fill out the application form to start the application procedure. Download the form and fill in all the information correctly. Check twice before submitting it, to avoid any error.
Document Submission: Along with the application form, you are also required to submit scanned copies of your documents. Check which documents are required, scan them and upload them. Clarity of the scanned documents is a must.
Make Payment: Complete the visa supplication procedure by paying the visa fee. You can use your credit or debit card for completing this procedure. After the payment has been made the visa application form will be processed.
On arriving at the Kuwait airport, travelers must pay an additional sum of 3KD to the immigration officials. It is advisable to carry a print-out of the eVisa, to present to the officials present there. After their documents have been checked and cleared, visitors will be allowed to enter the country.
Instructions for Applicants Applying for an eVisa to Kuwait
If the applicants are residents of the GCC country (Gulf Cooperation Council) i.e., from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Oman, then they have to use their GCC residency card to apply for an online visa. The card must be valid for a period of 6 months or more.
Dependents such as children, spouse and domestic labor, etc., need to send their sponsor's (main applicant) scanned GCC residency card while applying for eVisa. Upon arrival in Kuwait, the main applicant must be present with the dependents.
If the applicant is a resident of the GCC country, he/she must be from the following professions - doctor, engineer, consultant, lawyer, judge/member of public prosecution, businessperson, press & media staff, university teacher, pilot, system analyst/computer programmer, manager, diplomatic corps, university graduate - owner, manager and representative of commercial companies and establishments.
